This occurs when pressure or force exerted by flowing blood against the walls of arteries becomes higher than usual. When this continues to occur for longer durations can eventually cause heart diseases and can be associated as a major risk factor for cardiovascular health.

Common symptoms include:-

  • Blood pressure more than 130/80 mm of hg.

If the problem advances the urine may appear cloudy or bloody .

Females are more exposed to UTI. This can sometimes be a recurrent trouble.

The causes of UTI and its recurrence:-

  • Dehydration from weather and not having enough fluids.
  • Unhygienic toilet habits .
  • Refrain from urination when the urge comes or passing urine due to any reason like job demand, or fear of using a dirty toilet or not finding a toilet while traveling.

10. Ulcers of GI tract -

a) Mouth Ulcer
b) Gastric or Peptic ulcers( duodenal ulcer)

a) Mouth Ulcers:-  They are the sore lesions developed in the soft tissue lining of Gums . It erodes the delicate lining lining of the mouth and causes swollen skin around the sore. This causes pain and irritation while chewing and brushing.

The causes of mouth ulcers:-

  • Cheek biting or injury from brush or spoon.
  • Burn from hot food
  • Vigorous rubbing around misaligned tooth
  • Constipation
  • VIT B , Folate and iron deficiency
  • Reaction of  medication, strong antiseptic or mouthwash
  • Low immunity and viral or bacterial infections
  • On rare side, crohn's  disease , celiac disease, autoimmune disease or cancers

By keeping a check on causative causes can help to treat mouth ulcers.

b) Gastric OR  Peptic ulcers:-  When there is an ulcer or sore lesion on the lining of the stomach it is called Gastric or Stomach ulcer , and when it is on the part of the small intestine just beyond the stomach it is called the  Duodenal ulcer.

Symptoms of stomach or peptic ulcer:-

  • Cutting, gnawing or burning pain in the center abdomen area
  • Heartburn, indigestion, acid reflux, belching
  • Sick feeling in abdomen
  • burping , nausea or vomiting
  • Feeling full after eating little amount
  • Losing weight without exercise
  • In advance cases bloody or black stool

Causes of Gastric or Peptic ulcers :-

  • Frequent use of NSIADs
  • Low immunity and H.Pylori infection
  • Stress

Here there is an important thing to be taken into consideration. Few recent assumptions say that there is no link of stress in formation of gastric ulcers, BUT  previous researches have well proved the link between these two. Let's look how this can be logically explained:-

A chemical Epinephrine (hormone Adrenaline) is released into the bloodstream whenever there is a stress response by the body. This is called as fight response or Sympathetic responce

This is the evolutionary mechanism that interprets stimulus as threat. Due to this Blood vessels , heart, muscles and most of the body's organs go through rapid changes in order to compensate for the stress stimulus.

Due to the same changes in the secretion of stomach acids and mucus, saving the stomach lining from acid may lead to erosion of stomach lining and tissue if this happens to be a regular pattern over time.

Everybody is different and has their own threshhold .These patterns can put a person in health risk especially related to stomach and heart health.

So Treating can be important but prevention can be the key. Just by avoiding causative factors we can prevent and treat the Gastric Ulcers.

Homeopathic approach to Gastric or Peptic ulcers:-

A well-taken case with the individualistic totality of all mental and physical symptoms and then selecting a specific remedy on the basis of the former is the best treatment choice.

Few other medicines which can be considered only under the supervision of a homeopathic medical practitioner (because their selection is based upon many factors) for Gastric or Peptic ulcers are as follows:-

Mercurius, Nux Vom, Carbo veg, China, Lyco, Sepia Ars alb, Ignatia Amara, Puls etc.
