No. Homeopathic treatment is known for being side effects free, because the treatment is given in minute potentized doses and no crude or harsh chemical substance is used in large doses.

Though it is not usually advised to take homeopathic medication with allopathy because both of their way of action over body is different, but in few cases of palliative care or where allopathic medications for severe long standing clinical conditions are being given since long, we do not ask the patient to stop allopathy at once, if the patient shows considerable signs of improvement then we ask to first reduce the dose of allopathy and then further reducing it more in accordance to patient condition.
